Seonmi is a creative, technical and mindful designer. She is dedicated in her consideration for project details and the impact of light on the human experience. Seonmi joined the LAPD team in 2019, whilst working with the team she has brought exceptional dedication. For every project and requirement Seonmi brings particular attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the brief. Technically, Seonmi is fluent with CAD, Revit, the Adobe suite, she is a specialist in the use of lighting software, ensuring that she is capable of delivering exceptional documentation with impeccable visual communication

Her project experience is significant, she has worked on public realm and landscape projects, mega projects in the Middle East and Far East. She has experience of many interior projects, bringing knowledge and understanding of the requirements for BREAM, LEED, and Well accreditation for artificial and daylight design.

Seonmi studied her BA in interior design in Korea. For her MA, she studied Architectural Lighting Design at the Wismar University in Germany. Educationally, Seonmi focussed on the importance and impact of light on human emotion and spatial perception. This led to her final thesis that dealt with lighting design through storytelling.
