Simon is a passionate, dedicated and considerate lighting designer with particular enthusiasm for human and nature centric lighting design. 

Simon is an active representative of the DarkSky International organisation in the UK where he enjoys challenging the established use of light in the outdoor environment.

Simon is a Director at LAPD, leading a wide range of architectural, master planning and landscape projects. In his spare time he is also involved in theatre lighting projects. At LAPD, Simon has completed projects including BAFTA headquarters in Piccadilly, city master planning, high-end office towers and hospitality spaces in the UK and around the world.

Simon has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at UCL and a MA in Industrial Design at the RCA. He has been part of International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) committees, steering the advancement of the lighting profession and presenting papers at IALD conferences. He is also a chartered member of the Institute of Lighting Professionals (ILP).
